Don’t miss the Online Summit “Social Services & COVID-19: what role for EU?”

Our project coordinator EASPD is organising the Online Summit “Social Services & COVID-19: what role for EU?” together with all the other European networks of social services (not-for-profit, public, private, employers and trade unions), on Thursday 25th June from 10 to 12 CEST.

The event is one last push before the summer break starts & wants to be a show of strength of the importance of social service provision at the European level. For the very first time, a Vice President of the European Commission – Dubravka Suica – will be speaking directly about your work as social care and support services and the EU’s plans for the months and years to come to support your activities. For instance, the next EU Budget – some €1.8 trillion – is on the table. The event will set the EU agenda for years to come on social service provision: on recognition, on funding, on reform and legislation, on working conditions, on innovation, on guidance, etc.
